Our Physical Education and Sports Department student Damla Su Türemen made us all proud with the great successes she achieved in the national and international karate competitions she participated in.
Damla Su Türemen won the gold medal by placing 1st in the Kata category at the Turkish Junior, Youth and U21 Karate Championship held at Ankara Taha Akgül Sports Hall on January 02-06, 2025. Following this outstanding success, she also competed in the Karate1 Series A competitions held in Tbilisi, Georgia on January 10-12, 2025. Our student, who competed in the women's team kata category, managed to reach the top here and win another gold medal.
Damla, who successfully passed the eliminations in the National Team selections and earned the right to represent our country in the European Championship to be held in Poland on February 7-9, 2025, continues to honor both our school and our country.
